Sick tree? We’ll find the cause and fix it.
Yellow leaves, thinning crowns, sawdust at the base. A certified arborist observes the symptoms, diagnoses the cause, puts the fix in writing, and treats it in the season it works.

“Great service! Restored health to a sick tree I thought for sure was a goner.”
Nathan Brock
“Thank you for saving my very old trees (black locust and horse chestnut), which have never looked so good in the thirty years I’ve lived with them.”
Sid Harper
“ArborCare treated our maples with iron and an ash tree that had borer damage. The maples have significantly improved. … They were also very economically priced.”

What we treat
We treat the problem, not the calendar.
Plenty of companies spray the same thing on every property, four times a year, and call it a program. We’d rather find out what’s actually wrong with your tree first. Then we treat it in the season the treatment works.
Tree & Shrub Pest Control
Aphids, scale, spider mites, borers and bark beetles. We identify the insect first — chewing, sucking or boring — because the treatment for one is useless against the other two.
Pest control treatments
Tree & Shrub Disease
Fireblight, anthracnose, cytospora canker and powdery mildew. Most of it arrives in a cool, wet spring and shows up in July — which is why timing decides the year.
How we treat disease
Iron & Chlorosis
Yellow leaves with dark green veins aren’t a watering problem. In Utah’s alkaline soil it’s almost always iron, and it’s fixable.
How we fix chlorosis
Fruit Tree Care
Codling moth, cherry fruit fly, and the diseases that spot the fruit. If you want fruit worth picking, the work happens months before there’s any fruit on the tree.
How we protect fruit trees
An arborist looks at the tree before anyone quotes a price.
A tree with yellow leaves might be short of iron, drowning, root-bound, or dying of something in the trunk. Those are four different problems with four different answers, and you can’t tell them apart from the curb. So we start by looking properly. The inspection and the written estimate are free.
1
We identify it
Our staff is trained in tree identification, biology and physiology, and every applicator is licensed. Naming the species is half of naming the problem.
2
You get it in writing
The diagnosis, the recommended treatments and the price, on paper. No surprises, and no pressure to take all of it.
3
We build the year around it
Each treatment is scheduled for the window when it actually works, which usually isn’t the window that suits a sales calendar.

People on the crew
Ten people who can name your tree from a leaf.
That’s not a figure of speech. Our crew takes tree identification quizzes: a branch comes in, and they write down the species, the insect or disease on it, and the treatment that fixes it. Our ISA Certified Arborists are recertified every three years.
Meet the crewWhat our customers say
ArborCare has brought my old sycamores back from a very distressed condition. The team is knowledgeable and able to provide a wealth of information on trees and tree care. They are always on time and work quickly while on the job. I recommend them without hesitation.

Worried about the pets?
It’s a fair question, and the most common one we get. We choose the most selective product that will do the job, and treated areas are safe to walk on once the spray has dried.
